I help people build better businesses that allow their work and life to coexist in balance. For me, a better business does not necessarily equal a bigger business or becoming the next Fortune 500 company. Many people are driven to start their own business with a dream of freedom, flexibility, and autonomy; of having time for family, hobbies or more holidays, perhaps. However, many become overwhelmed by everything that needs to be done for their business and end up forgetting about these dreams. Therefore, I believe that a better business is one that is profitable and allows the owner to have all this with a healthy work-life balance.
My home country is Denmark but I consider myself a traveller. Since 2015 I’ve been able to work from anywhere. This means that I may sometimes take your call from the top of a mountain in Spain, or respond to your email from a co-working space in Thailand. I thrive in a setting where I get to share new ideas with other business professionals at a networking event but also become inspired by like minded people from completely different fields over a sunset drink. Exploring the world, cooking a meal with new friends and going for a hike make me happy - but they also make me do a better job.
A combination of academic background in Human-Centered Informatics (Master of Arts) and self-taught knowledge of web development and design have equipped me with a generalist skill set. This is my biggest asset. I am able to understand all areas of your business and translate the information needed to connect the dots that would make it a better business for you. For the last 8 years I’ve collaborated with small business owners on marketing, customer support, logistics, web development and research. My starting point has always been to know both the business and its owner well enough to be able to offer the support, collaboration and perspective needed to build a better business.
I believe in you, and I believe that it is possible for you to build a business that matches the life you want to life.
